Role Description
IMGE is looking for an operative to own organic and paid social media across a client roster that spans political campaigns, corporate brands, and issue advocacy. You will set strategy, build content calendars, write copy that performs, and run day-to-day publishing and community engagement.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thinks in platforms, moves fast, and can carry a campaign from concept to post to reporting. You will work alongside our creative, media, and account teams, and be trusted to make the call on what ships and when.
Responsibilities
- Own social strategy and monthly content calendars for a portfolio of clients across politics, advocacy, and corporate accounts.
- Write platform-native copy for Meta, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube that fits each client voice and each format.
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid social campaigns, working with our ad and data ops team on targeting, budgets, and flighting.
- Partner with creative to brief, review, and traffic static, video, and motion assets built for muted, mobile-first viewing.
- Manage publishing, community management, and real-time response, including rapid-turn content during news cycles and campaign moments.
- Track performance against goals, build client-facing reporting, and turn results into the next round of recommendations.
- Stay ahead of platform changes, format shifts, and new channels, and bring recommendations to account and client teams.
- Support influencer and creator programs, from sourcing and briefing through measurement.
Requirements
- Three or more years managing social media for brands, campaigns, or advocacy organizations, in-house or agency side.
- A body of organic and paid work you can speak to, with results you helped drive.
- Fluency across the major platforms and their ad managers, especially Meta Ads Manager.
- Sharp copywriting instincts and an ear for matching voice to client and channel.
- Comfort reading performance data and turning it into decisions.
- Strong project management habits and the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines without dropping detail.
- Clear, direct communication with teammates and clients.
Bonus Points
- Political, public affairs, or advocacy campaign experience.
- Familiarity with social listening and analytics tools such as Meltwater, and paid platforms such as StackAdapt.
- Hands-on experience with short-form video and creator marketing.
- Basic design or video editing skills.
