Leading digital media strategy and consulting agency IMGE announced today it has separated from Media Group of America Holdings, creating a stand-alone agency owned by Phil Musser and a small investor group. MGA Holdings, a media holding company co-founded by Phil Musser and Alex Skatell in 2013, previously owned both IMGE and the news website Independent Journal Review, though each entity operated separately.
Additionally, IMGE announced Bryan Sanders is joining the firm as Director of Research and Strategy. Sanders will lead a new team within IMGE, IMGE Insights, that will offer polling and messaging for political and corporate clients. IMGE Insights will employ a different approach to polling, casting a wider net via online, mobile, and landline interviews to deliver more accurate results and effective messaging at a lower cost. Sanders has distinguished himself as a strategist for some of the most unexpected Republican victories in the country over the last decade and was named a “Rising Star in American Politics” by Campaigns and Elections magazine.
“This is an exciting time for the IMGE team, and for MGA, as both companies have grown tremendously over the past several years. IMGE is now in a prime position to pursue more opportunities in the advocacy arena, and we can do so with a full-service team that can compete with the biggest agencies but at better cost, impact and speed,” stated IMGE CEO Phil Musser. “Bryan Sanders brings tremendous experience as a leading pollster and general consultant to numerous winning causes, and he will pioneer a new approach to survey research in an area that is ripe for disruption. We are already off to a fast start with several fascinating new projects, and I’m excited to welcome him formally to the team.”
IMGE is a full-service, digital-first consulting group capable of executing strategy from the idea-stage to execution. IMGE routinely works with clients to create highly effective digital advocacy strategies from scratch that are customized to fit their particular campaign needs.
