It’s that time of the year again; it’s 95 degrees, the Nats are in town, the Metro is under construction, the cold brew is flowing, and a new group of interns just started at IMGE. We are thrilled to have such a talented group of students and graduates working with us this summer.
“I’m looking forward to working with Opn Sesame and other SMS platforms. As we move into the new election cycle, it is clear that social media and emails may not be enough to convert. I want to learn how to make sustained impressions via SMS; and IMGE is exactly the place to learn how.”
“Learning how to mock up emails with HTML and CSS within the Salesforce platform has been my favorite skill so far. I have enjoyed learning what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ and all the steps taken to get an email to its final product stage. I look forward to working more with HTML and CSS as the summer progresses.”
“I am excited to learn more about crafting dynamic messages that effectively advocate for policy change. Through IMGE’s team approach, I will have the opportunity to learn every aspect that goes into message creation, which is my favorite part of this internship.”
“I am looking forward to learning how to use more advertising and marketing platforms this summer. So far my favorite platform is Sprout Social because I enjoy mocking up social posts and then viewing the analytics.”
“This summer I am most looking forward to working on content. I have really enjoyed learning Iterable, because it is such an important tool in streamlining candidates’ communication with supporters.”
“I am excited to watch my team’s project transform into a fully functioning website. I will get to see and work on the pre-launch, beta launch, and launch states.”

Working at IMGE isn’t just drinking cold brew and petting office dogs. Our interns are embedded on full-service teams consisting of an account manager, marketing strategist, content strategist, advertising strategist, and graphic designer. Our interns are a valued and critical part of the team, and are expected to actively participate in client projects. We want every intern to gain concrete, real-world digital experience during their time with us.
We are only a few weeks into the internship program, and this group has already jumped in head-first. They’re assisting teams with congressional campaign kick-offs, copywriting for Fortune 100 companies and nonprofits, compiling research and data analysis, and leading a keyword inventory for an SEO project. Impressive, to say the least.
We are looking forward to seeing what else this group will accomplish the next few months. Our interns will periodically take over our Instagram story to show what a day in the life of an IMGE intern is really like; we hope you follow along!
If you are ready to take the next step toward joining the best digital team in the D.C. area, please submit your internship application on our Careers page.
