Phil serves as Chairman & CEO of IMGE. In this capacity he serves as a senior client strategist and as the managing director for the firm. He has over 20 years of senior level experience in public relations, political strategy and digital advocacy that spans multiple industry areas and disciplines.
Phil specializes in helping develop clear, concise, understandable, and actionable public relations solutions for his clients and has been recognized as one of the most responsive, creative, and innovative executives in the industry.
Previously, he served as Executive Director of the Republican Governor’s Association, and the Senior Vice President of Dutko Worldwide, a top public policy management firm.
In the Bush Administration, Phil served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He also served as a deputy director of the 2004 G-8 Summit in Sea Island for the U.S. Department of State.
Phil is also an analyst on the political process and has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Politico, National Journal and dozens of local publications. Phil has appeared as an analyst on Fox News, CNBC, CNN, MSNBC and nationally broadcast shows like “Face The Nation” and “Squawk Box.”
A graduate of Kenyon College with high honors in History, Phil resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Heather and daughters, Abigail (10) and Alexandra (7).
