Will posting on X more increase post performance?

Will posting on X more increase post performance?

Hypothesis

Posting more frequently on X each day will increase overall social performance, both impressions and engagements.

Experiment Design

We conducted a retrospective study on the performance of an X account over a period of three months. We broke down the number of posts shared each day and the resulting impressions and engagements. We then averaged these out to impressions and engagements per post for comparison.

Results

534% relative difference in impressions and 138% relative difference in engagements when comparing posting once a day versus posting three times a day.

Key Takeaways

Posting 3-4 times a day is best for optimal X performance.
